In the upcoming General Election, Workers ‘ Party-held ( WP ) Hougang SMC, criminal lawyer Marshall Lim, 38, announced that the party would represent the People’s Action Party ( PAP ) in Singapore on Sunday ( Apr 13 ).  ,
Mr. Lim, a former assistant public prosecutor in the Attorney-General’s Chambers, is a relatively stranger to elections after taking over as the group’s Hougang tree chairman in February as chairman of a cleaning company and pest control company Jackson Lam, 40.
He was formerly the Public Defender’s Office’s associate deputy public defender, and he is a partner at Martin &, Partners, a private law company.
Mr. Lim said he made certain those who broke the law were held responsible in his day as a deputy public prosecutor in the AGC and as a criminal lawyer,  , representing people who committed” major errors” or those from” strong background.”
Justice, in my opinion, involves justice, kindness, and the belief that people can change rather than punishment. I’ve advocated for those who aren’t usually seen. People who make mistakes have so much promise, according to Mr. Lim.
After Prime Minister Lawrence Wong kicked off the stone presentations by revealing on Saturday that he would continue to serve in Marsiling-Yew Tee GRC, Mr. Lim was presented to the internet on the next time of PAP’s official member meetings.
Additionally, Mr. Wong, who is the PAP’s secretary-general, stated that the group would be fielding its largest stone of fresh encounters in recent past, with over 30 novel candidates in the upcoming election.
Since taking over from Mr. Lam earlier this year, Mr. Lim has been engaged in Hougang by regularly posting about his earth trips with Hougang people on his social media platforms.  ,
Lee Hong Chuang, a 55-year-old veteran Hougang member, had previously contested in two votes under the group’s banner.  ,
