‘Dreams can come true if we possess self-confidence’
No matter where they are born, a person can create their dreams become a reality if they have determination plus self-confidence is the credo of Miss Universe Thailand 2022 Anna Sueangam-iam – and he or she is living proof.
The girl parents were Bangkok city garbage collectors and she grew up with her great grandmother, who was a Buddhist lay nun, or even mae chee .
Anna, twenty three, won the crown on Saturday night.
She said her mom and dad worked for the Bangkok City Administration. Her father worked on a garbage truck, while her mother held two jobs — as a city road sweeper and also being a maid. She grew up familiar with piles associated with garbage and the girl toys were the broken and thrown away ones her caring parents picked up plus fixed for her.
During the girl childhood she got never gone out like other children and piles of garbage were the only real outdoor places the lady becamefamiliar with, while accompanying her father to work on his eco-friendly garbage truck.
She experienced also grown up residing off alms, since her late great grandmother had been the Buddhist nun and fed her in the food she received from devotees while taking care of her instead of her hard-working mom and dad, who put her through school.
The spiritual teachings of the girl great grandmother had also guided the girl life, Anna stated.
“Don’t be limited to where you are born. With enough determined we can alter our life, ” Anna said during the recent pageant.
She mentioned she was nevertheless getting over the shock of winning the Miss Universe Asia 2022 title.
“Today can be proof to everyone that no matter where we are born, we can be successful and make the dreams come true whenever we have the self-confidence, ” she said.
Anna said that her parents got never compromised their love for her, and the love of her parents and her great grandmother have been the great force that led to her success.
