Phan may have already collected a number of stunning houses, but she had no prior style or project management experience.
” I did n’t even know what an interior designer had to do,” she said. I had to find out who comes in first, what supplies I needed, and additional certain details like how to throw stones.
She continued,” I also had to learn how to manage consumer expectations and build confidence in them,” noting that at first some companies even swore to her and spoke only to her mentor.
However, Phan followed her leader on projects and learned quickly on the job. She was given the opportunity to work with her coach on a project that would be designing a four-room apartment in Clementi for a few who would be expecting their baby quickly, two to three months into the work.
Despite some growing concerns, she created a place they loved.

REIGNITING A Life Interest
It’s been four times, and Phan has since designed 30 to 40 jobs. She recently began working on both residential and commercial initiatives for her hometown interior design firm, SG Interior.
Every home is unique because it must accommodate whoever is residing in it. Before designing a home, it is crucial for an interior designer to get to know the owner, their way of life, and requirements. Would they host frequently, stay at home a lot, cooks a lot? ” she said.
