According to the president’s” Thai Khu Fah” Facebook page, the 34.5-kilometer Pink Line mass transport system is anticipated to start providing free trips in November.
The elevated monorail system is currently running trial runs, according to an update from the Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand( MRTA ). The studies have gone off without a hitch thus far.
The trial’s first phase, which involves all 30 stations, will last until October 22 and the second phase — which includes Min Buri station ( PK30 ) in eastern Bangkok — will last through November 19.
The Independent Certification Engineer ( ICE ) and the MRTA will evaluate the readiness and safety of all the systems at the conclusion of the trial runs.
Before business functions, which are tentatively scheduled for Dec 18, start, free rides are anticipated to be available starting around the middle of November for a fortnight.
Min Buri and Nonthaburi are connected by the Pink Line. Payments to and from the Purple Line, the Green Line of the BTS, and the upcoming Orange Line are all supported by the system’s exchange stations.
With four to seven passenger vehicles capable of carrying up to 28, 000 passengers per hour, the Pink Line will use the same rail station type as the Yellow Line, which is currently in use.
Any transportation changes must be made in accordance with the consumer price index; fares typically begin at 14 ringgit and are capped at 42.
