Four arrested for offering online child sexual services

Authorities said on Saturday that four people who are reportedly involved in providing baby sexual services have been detained differently in Bangkok and Samut Prakan.

Two suspects — a man and a woman named Noppadol Chanthong, 40, and Khachaporn Khlainakpheuk, 51 — were detained by officers from the Anti-Trafficking in Persons Division( ATPD ) on September 6. They were wanted pursuant to arrest warrants issued by the Criminal Court.

The two suspects are accused of encouraging human smuggling by using prostitution as a source of income and luring or persuading children under the age of 15 to engage in sexual victimization.

Both gentlemen were likewise wanted in accordance with arrest warrants that the Criminal Court had issued on September 14. According to Pol Maj Gen Sarut Kwaengsopha, ATPD captain, they are accused of engaging in human trafficking, obtaining children for trafficking, profiting from the body trade, depriving them of paternal care, and other crimes.

Two 15-year-old women who had been lured into the sex body trade were earlier saved by authorities. Later, at a condo on Rama II Road, the police detained sexual dealer Ms. Thanyaporn.

Ms. Thanyaporn, according to Pol Maj Gen Sarut, tricked the two women into selling gender at this condo.

The police investigation found that the sexual dealer had posted images of kids on a website that demanded 490 baht per month in advertising fees. For increasing page views, more expenses were assessed.

According to Pol Maj Gen Sarut, Ms. Thanyaporn had sent money to the web using a lender account owned by M. Khachaporn, who had been hired to set up an account for animal payments from people looking to sell their sex services.

Each quarter, between 200 000 and 300 000 ringgit were transferred to her bank account; Mr. Noppadol was in charge of taking out the funds.

According to the ATPD chief, Mr. Noppadol was detained at his house in Bang Khen area while Ms. Khachaporn was taken into custody at her home in the Dusit district.

During inquiring, Mr. Noppadol admitted he was hired to withdraw money from the mule accounts and was paid between 1, 000 and 2, 000 baht each time by Mr Warit. Ms. Khachaporn also admitted receiving 2,000 ringgit to open the account.

According to Pol Maj Gen Sarut, Mr. Warit was later detained by police in the Hua Mak neighborhood. Mr. Warit admitted to serving as the website’s executive, providing child sex services, and overseeing its finances. He was paid 60,000 baht per month, and Pheeraphon, the owner of the web, even paid him a part of his advertising fees.

Later, Mr. Pheeraphon was detained at a posh cover complex in Samut Prakan. On his seized servers, the police discovered a large number of images of young girls and women who had been victims of human prostitution.

During doubting, Mr. Pheeraphon acknowledged being the website’s owner and revealed to authorities their close friendship. Before entering the online sex industry, they had previously worked as event planners and online advertising team. & nbsp,

To avoid being seen by Thai officials, Mr. Pheeraphon claimed to have hired a foreign computer to build the site and rented an overseas server. He claimed that he made between 200 and 300,000 ringgit a month from advertising fees.

Authorities are now holding all defendants while they await legal action.
