Malaysia’s opposition leader and former prime minister Muhyiddin Yassin is facing sedition charges for allegedly insulting the nation’s former king, according to his lawyer on Tuesday ( Aug 27 ).

Malaysia’s authorities confirmed on Monday that the , Attorney General’s Chambers had ordered Muhyiddin to be charged with sedition.
