A foreign lady has been detained after colliding her car with a bike, killing one person and injuring another.
The event occurred in Nong Prue, on the eastern part of the beach town in Chon Buri, on Monday at 12.30pm, said Pol Lt Col Jirasak Aebfaeng, research chief at the Nong Prue police place.
Police arrived at the scene and discovered a Honda motorcycle severably strewn onto the sedan’s before.
The female rider horse died instantly after the motorcycle driver was critically injured. Local internet identified the vehicle as Virat Sangthong, 30, and his rider as Nidjaree Lomruen, 33.
The vehicle, identified as Ekaterina Kutsepalova, 40, was said to have gone into a state of shock when she learned of the accident. The pilot’s nationality was never given.
The coupe was discovered traveling along a path close to Motorway No. 7 in Nong Prue. When it reached the gate over the road, it struck the scooter and dragged it for more than 50 feet, authorities said.
