Foreign Minister Parnpree quits after major reshuffle

After being removed from his position as deputy prime minister due to a cabinet reshuffle record, Parnpree Bahiddha-Nukara, foreign secretary, submitted his resignation to Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin on Sunday.

Mr Parnpree served as a deputy prime minister and the foreign&nbsp, secretary prior to the government change. In the fresh collection- up, he was assigned the foreign affairs investment.

Mr. Parnpree stated in a letter of resignation to Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin that he would step down as deputy prime minister after that position.

He claimed that he did n’t think the reason he was fired was due to a lack of accomplishments. He outlined his accomplishments since joining the government last month.

Mr. Parnpree confidently demonstrated his honesty and integrity in his work in the fields of international affairs and the global economy, attracted more foreign investments as a result of the government’s announcements, and successfully implemented the country’s strategic monetary diplomacy to open trade doors.

He stated that he was determined to ensure the safety of Thai citizens traveling overseas to negotiate for the transfer of Thai citizens held captive following the Hamas-Israeli hostage situation. He even mentioned the Laukkaing, Myanmar, launch of the Thais.

He even expressed gratitude to the prime minister for giving him the chance to work.

In a media interview on Sunday, Mr. Parnpree stated that his departure from Mr. Srettha’s case was “upholding the theory” and that he had complete confidence in both his positions.

He claimed that having only the position of foreign minister may hinder his job in foreign affairs and that other qualified candidates could fill the position.

When asked if Mr. Parnpree may determine whether or not he would support the decision Pheu Thai Party in the future, he said he would.

Pichai Chunhavajira, an ex-executive in power, was appointed finance minister on Sunday in the hopes that he will be able to revive the struggling economy.

Sanan Angubolkul, president of Thai Chamber of Commerce, welcomed the nomination of Mr Pichai, in particular, saying the appointment came at the right time. The 2024 funds, which is due to be released next month, will be overseen by Mr. Pichai, who will assist the PM in ensuring that it is being delayed and promoted in order to stimulate the economy and promote tourism. &nbsp,

Sanga Ruangwattanakul, chairman of the Khao San Road Business Association, even pinned his desires on the new finance leader’s ability to lead the government in tackling elements hindering its economic stimulus efforts, including high interest rates.
