Foreign Minister Parnpree quits after major rehuffle

After being removed from his position as deputy prime minister due to a cabinet reshuffle record, Parnpree Bahiddha-Nukara, the foreign secretary, submitted his resignation to Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin on Sunday.

Prior to the government change, Mr. Parnpree served as the finance secretary and the deputy prime minister. In the fresh collection- up, he was assigned the foreign affairs investment.

Mr. Parnpree stated in a letter of resignation to Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin that he would step down from the position in the international politics ministry after being removed as deputy prime minister.

He claimed that he did n’t think the reason he was fired was due to a lack of accomplishments. He outlined his accomplishments since joining the case last month.

Mr. Parnpree confidently demonstrated his ability to perform well in the areas of foreign affairs and the world economy while performing with integrity and honesty, attracted more foreign investments as the state had predicted, and successfully implemented the president’s strategic economic politics to open business windows.

He stated that he was determined to ensure the safety of Thai immigrants who were being held captive following the Hamas-Israeli hostage situation while traveling overseas to negotiate for the transfer of Thai citizens. He also mentioned the Laukkaing, Myanmar, Thais ‘ transfer.

He even expressed gratitude to the prime minister for giving him the chance to work.

In a media interview on Sunday, Mr. Parnpree stated that his departure from Mr. Srettha’s case was “upholding the theory” and that he had complete confidence in both his positions.

He claimed that having only the position of foreign minister could interfere with his labor in foreign affairs and that other qualified candidates could fill the position.

When asked if he would stay with the decision Pheu Thai Party, Mr. Parnpree said he would make a decision about his political career afterwards.

Sanan Angubolkul, president of Thai Chamber of Commerce, welcomed the nomination of Mr Pichai, in particular, saying the appointment came at the right time.
