Flooding remains in four provinces

According to a report from the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation on Thursday, flooding has affected about 13, 200 homes in the provinces of Tak, Kalasin, Ubon Ratchathani, and Trat.

According to the office, the northeastern state of Tak’s Ban Tak and Sam Ngao regions still have 21 villages with floods.

There are 322 villages in Kalasin’s northern state, spread across 10 regions, including Yang Talat, Sahatsakhan, Sam Chai, Khali, Muang, Nong Kung Si, Rong Kham, and other settlements.

35 settlements in Ubon Ratchathani’s Muang and Warin Chamrap towns have also been impacted by flooding in the Northeast.

In the East, one town in Trat’s Bo Rai region is still submerged.

Overflow levels in some regions of these regions are subsiding, according to the office.

But, the Meteorological Department forecast large storms from Thursday to Saturday in the country’s top region, and rain is anticipated from Sunday to Wednesday of the following year across the nation.
