Seasonal flooding is affecting six regions in the North, Northeast and Central Plain, disrupting life in more than 18, 000 communities in 27 regions.
Since August 16th, heavy rain and heavy rains have caused significant damage in 33 regions across the nation, according to the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation. Four in the North, six in the Northeast, two in the East, three in the Central Plain, and eight in the South.
The flood had affected 160, 736 communities in 4, 017 settlements of 175 regions and claimed 46 lives and left 24 people injured.  ,
Chiang Rai, Lampang, and Phitsanulok in the northeast, Nong Khai and Nakhon Phanom in the north, and Ayutthaya in the northern plain, are currently experiencing flood.  , A full of 598 settlements in 27 towns were inundated and 18, 087 homes affected.
According to the office, heavy machinery and devastation mitigation teams had been working to evict the floodwater from the affected areas.
On Monday, Mae Sai, and Muang regions in Chiang Rai were still in the water. A full of 1, 268 communities had been affected.
In Lampang, flooding continued in seven regions- Chae Hom, Ngao, Muang, Ko Kha, Hang Chat, Muang Pan and Mae Phrik- affecting 92 homes. In some places, the waters had cooled.
In Phitsanulok, flood persisted in Phrom Phiram, Bang Rakam and Muang regions with 576 families affected. The water rates were secure.
In Nong Khai, six regions were flooded ,- Sangkhom, Sri Chiang Mai, Tha Bo, Muang, Ratana Wapi and Phon Phisai. A full of 8.199 communities were affected. In some places, the ocean was receding.  ,
In Nakhon Phanom, flooding continued in Tha Uthen, Sri Songkhram and Muang towns, affecting 250 homes in 53 settlements. The storm was  , receding, the department said.
In Ayutthaya, six counties were flooded - , Bang Ban, Phak Hai, Sena, Phra Nakhon Sri Ayutthaya, Bang Pa-in and Bang Sai. A total of 7, 702 communities in 301 settlements were affected. The liquid level was firm.
