Flash floods in Korat’s Wang Nam Khiao cause damage, 1 missing

The incident took place on Saturday in the Udomsap sub-district.

Numerous routes were flooded by the floods, including Nong Somong community, where a two-story wooden house under structure was almost completely submerged. A Fortuner, a delivery truck, a vehicle, and six riders that were parked at the site all had damage.

The missing employer, a Burmese nationwide, was last seen attempting to flee the floods using two jerry cans but was swept away. Local officials have worked closely with rescue groups to quickly look for the missing person.

Somchai Tonsungnoen, the buyer, reported that he was informed of the flooding while staying in Nakhon Ratchasima area and that he had rushed back to find his home seriously flooded. Authorities are looking into the tragedy and working with those who have been affected by the floods to help.
