Eight people also sought for frequent attacks on 12-year-old woman in Narathiwat
At the Tak Bai police stop in Narathiwat on Tuesday, five of the thirteen suspects who allegedly raped a 12-year-old woman turned themselves in.
The accused, aged 16 to 24, were brought by their kids to join with Pol Col Suphachat Yeewangkong Na Phatthalung, the network’s director.
A slight aged under 13 was raped by all five, a small was abducted for indecent acts, and the other was taken from their parents.
The defendants will show up in Narathiwat Provincial Court on Wednesday, but Bail was denied.
A juvenile detention facility will house the defendants who are underage.
A person contacted social media dissident Guntouch Pongpaiboonwet, alias Gun Jompalang, who claimed her younger sister had been gang raped in Narathiwat before fleeing to Nonthaburi to dwell with her.
The victim was taken to the Rattanathibet city police in Nonthaburi on Sunday by Mr. Gun and Warin Weerasunthorn, the organization’s manager.
Between May 10 and June 8, according to Mr. Guntouch, the girl was allegedly raped five times in a town in Tak Bai, in the southwestern province.
The abuse involved 13 people, some of whom were her friend’s friends and relatives.
Mr. Guntouch claimed that one of the offender allegedly told the girl he did give her a treat before taking her to a resort and calling his companions to rape her.
The group is reportedly involved in peddling cocaine. According to the kid’s girl, some people were discovered posting images online that offered to sell drugs.
According to Mr. Guntouch, some of the accused just called the girl’s mother and threatened to settle if she went back to Tak Bai. The various eight defendants are still being sought by law enforcement.
He added that he is also preparing to file a lawsuit against a Narathiwat teacher who allegedly made the suggestion in virtual posts that the woman might have given in to the sex acts.
