A government spokeswoman announced on Sunday that a total of five historical locations in Thailand have been added to a preliminary Unesco list of potential fresh world heritage sites. &nbsp,

The “tentative” record is an inventory of qualities that a state intends to select to Unesco’s World Heritage List. No addition on the cautious list will guarantee a place on the list of world heritage sites.

Wat Phra Mahathat Woramahawihan in the southern province of Nakhon Si Thammarat ( listed on August 28, 2012 ), Chiang Mai’s historical and cultural sites ( listed on August 9, 2015 ), Wat Phra Tat Phanom in the northeastern province of Nakhon Phanom ( Feb 2, 2017 ), and Phimai, its” cultural route,” and the associated temples of Phanomroong and Muangtam ( Apr 11, 2019 ), are

In a related development, Mr. Chai claimed that the government has made Phu Phra Bat Historical Park’s admissions free from now until August 12 in honor of the country’s second Unesco World Heritage site. &nbsp,

Srettha Thavisin, the prime minister, welcomes the people to show his gratitude and congratulate on the designation of Phu Phra Bat as Thailand’s innovative World Heritage site. The official claimed that this is another example of the government’s commitment to protecting and developing the country’s social competitiveness. &nbsp,
