Five arrested in central Thailand with 6.4m speed pills destined for South

In Lam Luk Ka area of this northern Thai state, police detained five suspects who were reportedly carrying 6.4 million meth pills in the process of submission in the South.

At around 4o’clock on Saturday, authorities in tambon Lad Sawai made four arrests for a woman and a man in the Pruksa 17 casing estate.

At the home, officers found the velocity pills in packages. Police believed that the illegal drugs were smuggled from the North and kept in Pathum Thani pending supply, according toPol Maj Gen Adit Charoensawat, captain of the Narcotics Suppression Division 3.

The suspects may have sold the rate pills in the South if they had rented the house for three weeks. The suspects formerly served their sentences for drug-related offenses, according to the captain, and then went back to the illicit trade.

One of the arrested defendants admitted to police that he had driven a car to Ang Thong state, where medications were being loaded onto the car. Finally he returned the car to the Pathum Thani rented home.

His party packed rate pills and sent them to customers, mostly in the South, the assume said.
