In accordance with the country’s soft energy plan, the second group of eight Chinese tourists has made their way to this southern resort island to practice Muay Thai under 90-day” Non-Ed” visas.

Paitoon Chutimakornkul, an assistant to the excellent minister and the sports thread- commission, along with several other officers, welcomed the eight Chinese visitors at Phuket International Airport on Saturday.

The Chinese tourists are the first group of foreigners visiting Thailand on a Non-Immigrant ED Visa or Non-ED Visa to study Thai fighting.

According to Mr. Paitoon, this type of card gives foreigners who attend Thai Muay Thai groups the option of staying in Thailand for a total of 90 days a 30-day extension to the earlier 60-day travel time.

He claimed that this eliminates the need for these visitors to return to their home countries to apply for more Thai permits in order to finish their Thai fighting studies.

The initiative is part of the sports thread- agency’s policy as Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin is promoting Muay Thai as one of the country’s sweet powers, he said.

According to Mr. Paitoon, it has been well received because of the numerous nations that have contacted the Sports Authority of Thailand’s ( SAT ) Board of Boxing Sport, which will assist the participants with the necessary documentation to participate in the program.

” The project will encourage Muay Thai on the international level and lead to the popularisation of Thailand’s another sports,” he said.

11 individuals were chosen to receive credentials from the SAT and his sub-committee on Friday, according to Pimol Srivikorn, an assistant to the prime minister and president of the national soft energy strategy committee’s sports sub-committee.

” They will be teaching Muay Thai from tomorrow ( Saturday ) to Thursday in Suadi Arabia, which is interested in bringing in Muay Thai trainers from Thailand,” Mr Pimol said.
