
According to officials, at least 17 people died in a fire that broke out in a building in the Indian city of Hyderabad on Sunday ( May 18 ).
About a dozen fire vehicles were involved in the operation, according to a statement from the Telangana Fire, Disaster Response, Emergency, and Civil Defence Department, which started on the ground surface and spread to the higher floors of the Hyderabad-based building.
G Kishan Reddy, India’s mine minister, who was present at the site, reported to the local advertising that a preliminary investigation suggested a little loop might have caused the fire.
Six children under the age of five were among the 17 dying.
