Fatal Tampines accident: Car workshop employee files police report over death threats after posting dashcam footage

Eight individuals were taken to the hospital as a result of the collision between Tampines Avenue 1 and Tampines Avenue 4.

Two of them, 17- year- ancient Temasek Junior College scholar Afifah Munirah and 57- yr- ancient pest control company employee Norzihan Juwahib, died from their injuries.

Mr. Soon claimed that he posted the video” not because of insurance reporting ( purposes ), but because he wanted the public to know that the white car was not in the wrong.

He continued, saying that he did n’t believe there was anything wrong with assisting with the social media sharing of the footage.

Because of this, people have threatened to rape my daughter, and pictures of my family have been posted online, and people have called me and ( given ) death threats because I posted that video on Facebook. People can recognize me, he said, yet when I go down to get food.

In response to TODAY’s questions, the authorities confirmed that a statement had been lodged.

A social media post purportedly written by the real driver of the light Mercedes Benz to “rationalise and clear up obvious misconceptions” even spewed the flames, which only worsened Mr. Soon’s situation.

Mr. Quickly argued that the driver of the light Mercedes-Benz could not have written the article, describing the vehicle as a guy in his 50s who spoke Mandarin and had little English comprehension. Mr. Quickly added that the pilot had previously used his services four times.

Authorities investigations are ongoing.
