Fasting during Ramadan is a time to train the head, improve body endurance, and improve self-control by abstaining from food and water.

According to a healthcare professional, fasting furthermore plays an important role in health because it encourages the body to recover and initiates the digestion process.

” In the medical realm, Ramadan fasting also aligns with the popular wellness practice: intermittent fasting, which helps promote discipline in eating”, said Dr Tanupol Virunhagarun, CEO of the Bangkok Dusit Medical Services ( BDMS ) Wellness Clinic.

Fasting also has a number of beneficial effects on the body, including lowering blood pressure and blood large levels, promoting brain infection, and improving the effectiveness of insulin functionality, he said.

Dr. Tanupol was speaking at a seminar held on Monday by BDMS called” Wellness for Ramadan: The Science of Wellness and Ramadan, the Balance of Faith and Health” to promote good health for Muslims during the sacred quarter.

Wan Muhamad Noor Matta, the speaker of the legislature, and Sheikhul Islam ( Chularajmontri), Arun Boonchom, the event’s presided over.

Dr. Tanupol cited international studies during the community that demonstrated numerous verified health advantages of Ramadan fasting.

He added that it is also very important for people to keep a good balance of physical and spiritual health during this time, and that they should all encourage people to improve their systems.

He claimed that the Ramadan primary food should not be taken lightly because adrenaline, which is a crucial component of the body, typically reaches its peak between 2 and 3 am.

” Eating is an effective way to burn excessive weight, especially from sugar and carbohydrates. Currently, obesity and overconsumption is a major cause of non-communicated diseases (NCDs ) in the world”, he said.

He cited a number that 384, 000 Thai folks died a year from NCDs, or 77 murders per day. In addition, a study conducted by Oxford University’s health department found that 80 % of individuals who had changed their eating habits may stop NCD growth.

He suggested that a food during Ramadan may be balanced between proteins, fat, and calories, adding that fabrics may be two pieces of a meal.

He advised that June participants drink plenty of water and steer clear of caffeine-containing drinks.

However, growth hormones may remain active at night from 10pm helping revitalise the body.

He continued, noting that sugar and carbohydrates should be avoided before sleep because they would inhibit the body from performing its proper performance. But first sleep is highly recommended for empowering its function.

According to Mr. Wan, Ramadan is not just a time of eating that also promotes moral well-being.

” Excellent health is not something you can buy. We must do it by ourselves”, he said.

Prevention, according to Arun Boonchom, is preferable to health care. As mentioned in God’s lessons, spending time during the Ramadan is a way to look after the brain in a healthy way.

Paramaporn Prasarttong-osoth, chairman of the BDMS administrative committee, said the BDMS Wellness Clinic recognises the importance of alternative care, including the brain, mind, and soul, which play an important role in maintaining a balance of health and happiness at Ramadan.
