Mr Ab Rauf added that Fan Bingbing, 42, may attend Melaka from Jun 14 to 16 , – during which she will be formally appointed Melaka’s tourism embassy on Jun 15.
” I believe the presence of Fan Bingbing… may bring more visitors, mainly from China and Asia, to attend Melaka”.
In December 2023, Fan visited the Indonesian state of Johor where she met , Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar , – calling the knowledge” an incredible honour”.
Fan Bingbing rose to fame in the late 90s through her part in the theatre series , My Fair Princess. Her reputation grew even more in 2003 when she starred in the film , Cell Phone which became China’s highest- taking drama of the year.
Her focus is now shifting to managing her charm brand, Fan Beauty Official, which just launched an online business in Singapore on May 27.
