Early on Sunday night in Bangkok’s Lat Krabang area, a family of three suffered injuries when their pickup truck sank from a bridge.
Around 2 a.m. on Sunday, an 11-meter-high D Krabang-Onnut runway was being constructed near the Suk Saman crossing on Lat Krabang Road.
A 22-wheeled trailer that was parked close to the bridge framework was found close to the scene, along with the severely damaged Isuzu pickup truck.
According to reports, the Ayutthaya province-registered pick allegedly fell from the runway, collided with the 22-wheeled vehicle, and lay on the ground.
Rescue personnel brought a 33-year-old gentleman, his 31-year-old family and their one-year-old child from their vehicle and sent them to a nearby hospital.
The vehicle allegedly told police that he had driven on the bridge because he had seen no barricades and the place was black.
