Stefano Domenicali, the CEO of Formula One Group, and Srettha Thavisin, the prime minister, have met to talk about possible Grand Prix competitions in Thailand.
Mr. Domenicali, who is presently looking into the possibility of holding a Formula One race below, addressed the excellent minister at Government House yesterday as a courtesy visit.
Mr. Srettha expressed his hope that Formula One Group would gain valuable information from his visit, help it find a location to host a Grand Prix, and learn about the potential for hosting for a significant event.
He added that the Formula One Group’s conduct of such a study has a strong support from the government.
Mr. Domenicali claimed that his business was looking forward to a trip to Thailand.
He expressed his hope that both parties do work together to accomplish their goal, noting that their cooperation would lead to shared benefits that would benefit Thailand’s economy, communities, and youth.
Mr. Srettha confirmed that Thailand is prepared to cooperate with the business.
The government’s plan to create opportunities and increase the country’s ability to host global events includes holding a Formula One competition in Bangkok.
He claimed that because of its readiness in several areas, including labor, facilities, and the kindness of the Thai people, it would perform well as variety of a race, given the chance.
Following an online conference held by the prime minister previous month to discuss a potential contest in Thailand, Mr. Srettha and Mr. Domenicali met in person to explain a possible race in Thailand.
