The winners of this year’s “Oscars of watchmaking” have been chosen, having a wide range of time pieces recognized for their anatomist perfection and prominent design.
The fantastic prize for the world’s best watch, the particular Aiguille d’Or Great Prix, was granted to the Chronomètre Ferdinand Berthoud FB 1 from Ferdinand Berthoud.
This limited-edition whitened gold and titanium time piece, which sells for more than $200, 000, has a buckskin strap and is run by a hand-wound motion comprised of more than 1, 120 components.
The Public Reward, chosen by ballots submitted internationally on the web and at select global watch exhibitions, has been awarded to the thirty-three bis Quai kklk Bergues by Czapek Genève.
Watches from Audemars Piguet, Montblanc, MB& F, Piaget, TAG Heuer plus Tudor brands, together with Chanel, Eberhard & Co, Fabergé and Grönefeld, were furthermore honored by this particular year’s 27-person global jury.
