Ex-MFP MP sought by micro-party

Wuttiphong Thonglour, a past Move Forward Party member who was kicked out due to sexual harassment allegations, is being courted by the Thai Civilized Party, an ultra-party that did not win any House seats in the May 14 vote.

The Thai Civilized Party is ready to pleasant Mr. Wuttiphong into its collapse, according to party chief Mongkolkit Susintharanon on Facebook, as key members of the party do not view the claims made against him as being as serious as fraud or other unlawful activities.

Since they both hail from Phitsanulok and graduated from the same colleges and universities, Mr. Mongkolkit stated in the blog that he would like to give Mr Wuttiphong another opportunity.

Wuttiphong, according to Mr. Mongkolkit, accepted the invitation with open arms, though he has not yet made a final determination on the subject.

According to group innovator Thawatchai Tulathon, MFP professionals and MPs will determine within the next two days whether Chaiyamphawan” Puaut” Manpianjit may be kicked out of the party. The party has found evidence to support the sexual harassment claim made against him.

He claimed that the party managers were scheduled to meet online yesterday to debate whether Mr. Chaiyamphawan may be kicked out of the organization because he disobeyed the group’s demand to publicly apologize to the three women who reported him for abuse by Saturday.

According to Mr. Thawatchai, the meeting’s outcome will be revealed at a larger meeting of directors and MPs that will take place over the course of the next two days.

On November 1, a joint celebration meeting determined that Mr. Wuttiphong and M. Chaiyamphawan were wrong about various alleged cases of sexual abuse.

Mr. Chaiyamphawan was spared the purging because there weren’t enough votes in favor of his exclusion from the party, while Mrs. Wuttiphong was expelled.
