A top Bhumjaithai Party member named Chada Thaised signed an order requiring the removal of Alpine property title deeds shortly before stepping down as deputy interior minister, according to Anutin Charnvirakul, the interior minister.

However, the authority to sign off on nullifying the deeds now rests with Chamnanwit Terat, the current deputy permanent secretary for interior who is supervising the Department of Lands ( DoL ), said Mr Anutin, who also serves as Bhumjaithai’s leader.

Mr. Chamnanwit may take a decision in this regard. According to Mr. Anutin, any delay in taking actions will result in a dereliction of duty and a criminal offense, according to Mr. Anutin.

Before he retires, the lieutenant continuous director for the interior has until the end of September to have the title deeds annulled, according to Mr. Anutin.

He claimed that because the Council of State has determined that the Pathum Thani area is a religious property that cannot be sold or transferred, Mr. Chamnanwit has much choice.

The DoL insisted on Wednesday that the title activities for the contentious religious narrative in Pathum Thani, which includes the Alpine Golf Club and a private complex, have not yet been overturned, as the media reported.

Any change in Alpine landownership would have transformed the plot’s position back to religious property. If so, Alpine Golf &amp, Sports Club Co and people of the housing complex would have been entitled to appropriate settlement, according to an article the Isra News organization published on Tuesday.

The company’s stocks are now held by the Shinawatra home, with Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra previously holding 22.41 million before transferring them to her mother, Khunying Potjaman na Pombejra, as of Sept 4 next year.

According to a supply at the Ministry of Interior, Mr. Chada, who at the time oversaw the DoL, signed the decree on September 3rd, 2018, to have the Alpine property title deeds removed immediately before he left the position.
