Danisha Nur Delisa Dewa, 36, was a simple care physician at Ng Teng Fong General Hospital who was present for the target at the time of his crime.

Following a test, he had been found guilty of one count of molesting someone. &nbsp,

The sufferer, who cannot be identified because of a gag order, was at the doctor’s mobile clinic on January 27, 2023, for a right shoulder operation. He was wearing a medical dress and was seated on a recliner chair. &nbsp,

Danisha approached the target at between 2.30 and 3o’clock, according to the prosecutors, who was represented by Deputy Public Prosecutor Ethan Lee.

Danisha then asked if the victim was wearing underwear and then raised the veil around the head. According to Mr. Lee, he did it to assess the victim’s response to an aggressive actions. &nbsp,

Danisha asked the victim if they felt any problems after placing a blood pressure circle around the victim’s straight arm and turning the blood pressure device. He then asked the victim three times to press the victim’s private parts. &nbsp,

The victim immediately assumed that this was a part of the medical process. He eventually realized that it wasn’t because other nurses had never done it. He also inquired about additional employees to determine whether the email was typical.

Danisha left his position on Jun 23, 2023, according to Ng Teng Fong General Hospital, after his work agreement was finished.

Mr. Lee claimed that Danisha had hid his steps behind the screen and that his inquiries to the victim were used to cover up the molest as part of routine medical care. &nbsp,

Danisha’s defense was essentially a retraction of the crimes. He claimed to have approached the survivor to take his vital signs, but he had never thoroughly raised the curtain, lifted the hospital’s hospital gown, or pressed on his personal parts. &nbsp,

He suggested that the victim fabricated the accusations because Danisha was a “LGBTQ” ( lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer ), and he was “homophobic.”

The prosecutors requested 15 to 18 months ‘ imprisonment, citing a number of aggravating factors. Danisha had abused his position of trust and used dishonesty, according to Mr. Lee. &nbsp,

The victim claimed that the crime was” shocking” and “unexpected” to him, and that he felt ashamed to discuss it, uncomfortable, and uneasy, Mr. Lee continued. &nbsp,

Danisha could have been sentenced to three years in prison, fined, caned, or punished with any mixture of the punishments for molesting.
