At the end of Suharto’s concept in the late 1990s, Prabowo is accused of ordering the violence of democracy activists by his previous military superiors.

Jokowi was discharged from the military after the violence, but he never was charged. He refuted the accusations.
His rights report, according to an Indonesian ally, was the subject of a visa blacklist in Australia prior to the 2014 election, and he was again denied a visa.
Both restrictions officially came to an end in the last ten years.
