Ex-envoy found dead in his home

Investigators believe a previous Thai ambassador to Denmark was the victim of foul play when he was discovered dead earlier yesterday in his opulent home in Bangkok’s Chatuchak area.

The body of Wichit Chitwiman, 63, was discovered by laborers who came to the house to perform some repairs, according to Pol Capt Puthipong Hongthong, assistant chief analyst at Suthisan police place.

The employees pressed the bell at the front gate of the house on Soi Vibhavadi Rangsit 20 but received no response, he claimed. The house was locked from the inside when the staff noticed a foul odor coming from it and called the police right away.

Neighbors informed the employees that they had noticed an odd odor coming from the house” a few days earlier ,” he claimed.

Once the officers had gained entry, they discovered a figure covered in paper boxes and lying out in the bathroom on the second floor.

Researchers discovered that the former Thai embassy to Denmark resided alone in the home, which he had only recently completed renovating.

Wichit had been stabbed three times in the chest, according to Pol Maj Gen Noppasilp Poonsawat, deputy director of the Metropolitan Police Bureau.

At the field, two blood-stained weapons were discovered. The weapons are thought to be among those kept in the home’s home.

On September 27, Wichit was next heard from. Authorities believe that two suspects, ages 14 and 17, were responsible for the murder.

Heldpost in Denmark: Wichit

Officials have been instructed to move the exploration along by federal police captain Pol Gen Torsak Sukvimol.

Investigators will be called for doubting even though they have no reason to believe that Wichit’s friends or the employees who renovated the property had anything to do with his death, according to Pol Maj Gen Noppasilp.

He claimed that although many areas on the first and second carpets had been looted, there were no indications of forced entry throughout the entire crime scene.

Near the front door of the house, which continued on the second floor, police discovered a body lead. Evidently, the victim had entered the room to cover.
