Ex-CIA analyst accused of working for South Korea for luxury handbags

A former CIA researcher and White House official is accused of selling designer handbags, expensive lunches, and other luxury products to US prosecutors in exchange for money.

Sue Mi Terry allegedly gave South Korean intelligence information in violation of the 31-page indictment, which was filed Monday ( Jul 15 ) in a federal court in New York.

” At the direction of ROK Government representatives, Terry advocated ROK policy jobs… disclosed nonpublic US Government info to ROK intelligence officials, and facilitated access for ROK Government representatives to US Government authorities”, according to the indictment, which referred to South Korea by its official word.

In return for her service, Terry’s North Korean managers gifted her a US$ 3, 450 Louis Vuitton bag, a US$ 2, 950 Bottega Veneta bag, and a US$ 2, 845 Dolce &amp, Gabbana coating, as well as other goods, according to the prosecution.

She was even taken to “multiple” Michelin-starred cafes and provided with US$ 37, 000 in secret payments to a think tank where she worked.

Security camera footage from the indictment includes images of Terry meeting her North Korean managers in Washington stores where she was given luxury handbags.
