Von der Leyen and her school of commissioners traveled to India on Thursday to check in with their diplomats, who were attempting to redress their strained relations with their conventional ally, the United States.

The EU hopes to find common ground with India on their shared worries about developing adaptable supply chains, managing new technology, including artificial intelligence, and China’s growing affect in the Asia-Pacific.
In a public address on Friday in the American money, the EU key said,” I can declare that we are exploring a potential Protection and Defence Partnership with India in the spirit of the alliances we have with Japan and South Korea.
” This will help us move up our work to store common challenges, whether on cross-border violence, maritime safety threats, cyber-attacks or the new trend we see: assaults on our crucial infrastructure”, she added.
