A woman from Australia has entered a death plea after allegedly killing three people with a contaminated fruit meal.

Erin Patterson, 49, is charged with three murder counts and two attempted murder counts for the July 2012 deadly food.

She’s also alleged to have attempted to kill her ex-husband three more times, according to authorities.

Ms Patterson has always maintained her ignorance.

The case has captivated the world and put Leongatha, a little, rural Victorian area, in the spotlight.

Authorities alleged Ms Patterson had invited her past in- regulations Gail and Don Patterson, along with Gail’s girlfriend Heather Wilkinson and Heather’s father Ian, over for breakfast at her house on 29 July. Next minute, her separated husband, Simon Patterson, was unable to show up.

All four of her friends fell ill within days of the food, police say, with Gail, Don and Heather dying shortly after.

Ms. Patterson has asserted on numerous occasions that she did not intentionally venom her friends.
