SINGAPORE:   Tadalafil, a potent prescription medication used to treat erectile dysfunction, has been discovered in two food products marketed with claims of male sexual enhancement effects.

The Singapore Food Agency ( SFA ) announced on Wednesday ( Apr 30 ) that Loboose High End Super Candy and Premium Thundercat Super Candy were available for purchase on local e-commerce sites.

Tadalafil may increase the risk of heart attack, stroke, pain, abnormal heart rate, and disease, according to SFA. In people taking brain medications, it may also result in potentially lethal low blood pressure.

Tadalafil should only be administered under health care.

SFA likewise discovered drugs in two food items that had claims like fat loss, digestion, and improved metabolism.

The items, Urbanism Candy and Lomie Peach Berries Blossom Fruity Tea, both found to contain sibutramine, respectively.
