EOC to help manage Covid outbreak

New grouping discovered at the prison Prachuap Khiri Khan

Public health officials are preparing to set up an emergency operations center ( EOC ) to manage the Covid-19 incident at the provincial Prachuap Khiri Khan prison, where infections have been reported in clusters.

Dr Opas Karnkawinpong, open health permanent minister, yesterday said authorities have intensified security efforts following the discovery of 79 Covid- 19 cases at the prison.

The first event was identified on March 27, when a 35-year-old female inmate was admitted to Prachuap Khiri Khan Hospital with symptoms similar to those of flu and tested positive for Covid-19, he said. However, a man criminal also tested good during a prison move testing, he said.

From March 28 to March 29, municipal health officials began screening for Covid- 19 using antigen test products, he said. Of 1, 906 individuals, 70 were confirmed to be infected, while of the 85 prison authorities, nine were confirmed, he said. He claimed that those who contracted the disease were kept isolated for five days while samples were taken for study.

According to Dr. Opas, the organizations concerned are working together to set up an EOC to control the Covid-19 position and stop the virus from spreading.

From March 17–23, 630 fresh Covid- 19 situations with five murders were detected in the country, according to the Department of Disease Control’s weekly statement.

Of the new circumstances, 222 suffered from severe asthma, with 74 requiring endotracheal induction, it said, noting the accumulated situations and incidents so far this year stand at 6, 238 and 60, both.

Dr Yong Poovorawan, director of the Center of Excellence in Clinical Virology at the Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University, wrote on Instagram this year, saying Covid- 19 infections had cut during the summertime and start to rise suddenly in June. The JN was used. The dominant strain was the Omicron Covid-19 variant, which had one sub-variant that did n’t seem to have more severe symptoms.

Dr. Yong advised people to check for Covid- 19 when exhibiting respiratory symptoms and to extract if they have a severe cough or fever. After they improve, they can resume their normal activities, but they should wearing face masks for at least five times and observe health techniques, he said.
