Drug trafficker arrested in southern Thailand with assault rifle, speed pills

NAKHON SI THAMMARAT: A male, 39, was arrested in Thung Song region of this southern Thai state with an assault weapons, 95 guns, and 111 rate medications. The person is a significant drug dealer, according to police.

Pol Lt Col Jaratchote Boonplong, analytical key at the Thung Song authorities place, said the suspect, identified only as Pairat, was arrested at a rented home in tambon Pak Phraek on Saturday evening.

There officers found an M16 assault weapons, 95 5.56mm bullets, 111 meth tablets and three cellular phones.

The gentleman had a long history of involvement in the illegal drug trade, according to Pol Lt Col Jaratchote. He was alleged to have sold rate pills in his native state of Surat Thani and Nakhon Si Thammarat.

According to the suspect, he claimed that he typically ordered 20, 000 rate pills for sale at once.

Police were looking for another drug-trafficking suspects connected to Mr. Pairat while they were examining the origin of the assault weapons and the bullets.
