RAYONG: A suspected drug user was detained on Tuesday in the eastern state of Klaeng for allegedly throwing a one-year-old child into a crab fish-pond, killing the child.

The suspect, identified only as Nutthapong, 36, was arrested at the picture clearly intoxicated and agitated, said Pol Capt Nutthakrit Konglord, the work officer at the Klaeng police station.

The deceased child was identified as the one- yr- aged son of Mr Thongpipat, 26, a co- worker of the suspect.

The teen’s body was discovered after spending some time in the water, according to police. On a shellfish land, the pond was right next to the staff ‘ houses.

According to the boy’s parents, the believe started working at the land three days before the shooting.

He said he had left his brother with Mr Nutthapong, who was also a colleague, while he went to the bathroom.

Therefore, according to him, he claimed that he first heard his son cry soon after, so he yelled for him to quiet down before hearing loud bangs like someone kicked the door.

He assumed that Mr. Nutthapong was going into the lake to fish, so he heard people jumping into the water as the sounds came out.

Mr. Thongpipat said he asked Mr. Nutthapong where his brother was when he discovered his son missing when he went to the bathroom. Mr. Nutthapong claimed he accidentally threw the child into the lake.

The parents discovered his brother’s body floating in the water after thinking his companion was making fun of him.

A relative who could n’t revive the boy claimed to have performed basic CPR on the child.

When officers and medical personnel arrived, Mr Nutthapong appeared to be very intoxicated, screamed and resisted imprisonment.

He was taken to the Klaeng authorities place for drug tests, said authorities.
