No compelling proof that a European male had assaulted, was found in the lower court.
Thailand: A doctor who claimed to have been kicked by a European gentleman in February while she was sitting on the actions next to his Yamu Beach home will contest his dismissal on rape charges.
Dr Thandao Chandam, 26, said on Thursday that she was disappointed by the judge’s choice.
She expressed gratitude to the public for her spiritual aid in the case, and promised to fight for justice. She also pledged to stand by her assault accusation.
Her parents, Kasem Chandam, said the family decided to appeal for the sake of justice, adding that he hoped the people do keep up with the help. ” We will do our best to restore justice”, he said.
On February 24, a companion and Dr. Thandao were sitting on the oceanfront steps near his rented palace when a 45-year-old man was accused of kick Dr. Thandao in the rear.
The plaintiff, who ran an elephant camp in Phuket, had reportedly accused the physician of intruding on his occupied property.
The actions leading to the seaside were, it turned out, improperly constructed and not part of the property. They were afterwards demolished.
The alleged blow was captured on a mobile picture, leading a public outcry and calling for Mr Fehr’s imprisonment.
Following a proposal from Phuketan officials, the Immigration Bureau suspended Mr. Fehr’s card on March 7. According to the ministry, Mr. Fehr’s behavior was viewed as a menace to social order. He is contesting the imprisonment purchase.
Following that, Mr. Fehr was charged with rape and the situation was turned over to the Criminal Court.
But, the court on Tuesday acquitted Mr. Fehr, giving him the benefit of the doubt because the plaintiff had no concrete proof of physical assault to back up his claim. It outlined its justifications in a thorough event description that was made available on Wednesday.
Mr. Fehr has always maintained that when he fell on the actions, his foot popped up in the air, which made it appear on the picture that he was kicking.
