Disney’s “The Little Mermaid” is coming back to theaters the coming year, with Halle Bailey bringing a live-action Ariel to the giant screen for the first time, and the facilities unveiled a sneak peek at the brand new film at the D23 Expo.
That it is short but also so sweet, with a seconds-long glimps from Ariel in action, performing some impressive notes from “Part of Your World. ”
The film, directed simply by Rob Marshall, that has also helmed “Chicago” and “Mary Poppins Returns”, is being charged as a reimagining of the 1989 Oscar-winning cartoon musical classic.
In addition to Bailey, a singer that has also appeared upon Freeform’s “grown-ish, inch the film functions Daveed Diggs since the voice of Sebastian, Jacob Tremblay (“Luca, ” “Room”) as the voice of Flounder and Awkwafina as the voice of Scuttle.
“Little Mermaid” is set to hit movies building on May twenty six, 2023.
