Following a meeting between Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin and Deputy Finance Minister Julapun Amornvivat, the president’s digital wallet plan committee is anticipated to continue its function.

The handbook program is a major concern, according to Deputy Prime Minister and Commerce Minister Phumtham Wechayachai, and the commission is likely to call its second meeting soon after the scheduled conversation between Mr. Srettha and Mrs. Julapun.

The National Anti-Corruption Commission ( NACC ) panel had set up a study on the handout, and the digital wallet policy committee had postponed its meeting for January 16 in order to hear its findings.

While waiting for the anti-graft company’s statement, Mr. Srettha announced on Saturday that he would expedite discussions with Mrs. Julapun about how to proceed with the 10, 000 bass modern budget plan.

” As soon as possible, the commission will meet.” The state has a duty to carry out this commitment and must solicit input from pertinent organizations. This wait and see how and when the plan can be put into action, Mr. Phumtham said.

He stated that although the government has not yet received the NACC’s tips, it is prepared to do so.

The state has not done anything wrong and will not be ordered to halt the plan, he said, even if the anti-graft company’s comments echo guesswork of the content commonly reported by the media.

He emphasized the importance of the digital wallet plan in order to prevent a financial crisis like the 1997 accident.

By claiming that the nation’s economy is in a crisis as it has grown at an average rate of 1.9 % per year over the past ten years, the government has maintained the need to stimulate the economy through its digital wallet program.

It intends to secure loans totaling 500 billion ringgit to fund the program, but detractors warn that this could be against the State Fiscal and Financial Discipline Act because the nation has n’t demonstrated any signs of needing such a plan to immediately strengthen the economy.
