Delivery food rider fined after damaging side mirror of car that nearly hit him

A food delivery driver followed the vehicle into his personal property and damaged the driver’s side mirror after nearly striking him. &nbsp,

Koh Wen Hao, 26, pleaded guilty to one trespass and mischief count for each on Tuesday ( Mar 18 ), and was fined S$ 5, 000. &nbsp,

Koh was cycling along Grace Walk in the Serangoon neighborhood on November 16 when a 64-year-old man drove his vehicle onto the same city from a merging lane.

Koh had to evade motion and he&nbsp became furious because he believed the other group had driven extremely. He had to take evasive action to avert motion.

The pilot made his way to Verdana Villas, a swarm housing project, and Koh followed suit. &nbsp,

Koh allegedly lied to a security guard at the Verdana Villas wall about 8:00 p.m. and was pretending to be delivering meal to a residence.

Koh walked into the included car area where the drivers had parked his car after the security guard had let him in. &nbsp,

He yanked, kicked, and punched the left side picture several times before locating the car. A closed-circuit broadcast cameras captured the event. &nbsp,

On November 17, 2024, the pilot reported to the officers, and Koh was later detained by police.

Koh has since made full restitution and the damaged mirror cost about S$ 1, 170 ( US$ 880 ) to repair. &nbsp,

Koh argued in mitigation that his actions were the result of “built-up” anger from numerous instances of “inconsiderate and foolish drivers” like the one in the current case. &nbsp, &nbsp,

He claimed that a motion was good to have left him “lying in bed suffering.” &nbsp,

If I hadn’t taken any ambiguous actions, I could had lost my life that day, he continued. &nbsp,

” I am aware that whatever I did is not an reason.”

He told the judge,” I regret my deeds, this is my last and most regrettable incident, and I hope you may give me another opportunity,” he said. &nbsp,

Koh could have been imprisoned up to two years, fined, or both for his evil. &nbsp,

He may have faced trespass-related jail time of up to three months, a fine of up to S$ 1,500, or both. &nbsp,
