Delhi: Fake bomb threats shut nearly 100 schools in Indian capital

After receiving fake bomb challenges, dozens of individuals in and around India’s capital Delhi were forced to leave.

Officials claim that the threats are fake. Everything was found during a search of the institutions, they add.

Police claim to have located the source of the hazard email sources and are currently looking into the matter.

People have been urged to remain quiet by the national home ministry and Delhi Police.

According to Delhi’s Lieutenant Governor ( LG), the state’s constitutional head, schools have been cordoned off as search operations are being conducted in the areas that received the bomb threat.

The state’s Fire Services claimed to have sent fire vehicles to the schools, but they could not find anything during their search.

” Dog battalions, and bomb removal products are likewise working”, VK Saxena told local advertising. ” I want to tell the Delhi Police that we are fully prepared and that we will make every effort to stop any unfavorable event from occurring.”

Mr. Saxena posted a message on X, previously Twitter, informing parents to co-operate with the management to ensure the safety of colleges and the children.

A top Delhi Police official informed writers that some clinics in the capital had furthermore received similar characters on Tuesday.

Suman Nalwa, a public relations officer with the police, said that it seemed” one had done this to make panic”.

” Nothing unforeseen has been found so way”, she told ANI news organization.

Delhi’s Minister of Education Atishi claimed that the government was regularly monitoring the situation and was in contact with the police and institutions.
