” Disruptions”
According to the National Anti-Corruption Commission( NACC ), further delays may result from disclosing specifics of the investigation into the luxury wristwatch scandal involving Deputy Prime Minister Prawit Wongsuwon.
According to Niwatchai Kasemmongkol, the NACC secretary-general, an order issued by the Supreme Administrative Court last week to share information has not yet reached the National Capital Region, which may need to send the matter to the Constitutional Court for assistance with understanding.
The NACC is required to reveal the information after the court granted Veera Somkwamkid, the head of the Anti-Corruption People’s’s Network, a demand. According to the jury, the revelation must be completed within 15 days of the April 21 order’s’s issuance.
The NACC will review the order to see if it raises any legal bright colors, according to Mr. Niwatchai.
The court arrangement includes the NACC secretary-general’s’s and case-appropriate officials’ views.
The NACC determined in December 2018 that there was no evidence to support claims that Gen Prawit had misrepresented his income by omitting 22 upscale watches and bracelets from his number of goods.
