Ms. Suyanee was driving the Suzuki Swift sedan to the city office when police claimed the explosive was hidden inside. It exploded at 10.10am.

As the vehicle was engulfed in flames, Ms. Suyanee managed to escape. She was eventually transferred from Kapho Hospital to Pattani Hospital in the Muang area because of her injuries, according to authorities.

Authorities believe the vehicle was ruined by an insurgent’s weapon that went off after she was supposed to leave the area office and parked the car it.

Following the recent assault in Narathiwat province’s Sungai Kolok area, the district office was targeted. On March 8, the office was attacked by many bombs and gunshots, killing two defense volunteers on day guard and injuring 14 different people, including civilians. &nbsp,
