Due to ongoing eruptions and poor presence, the rescuers may try manual evacuations whenever they could, walking to the volcano’s summit and using stretchers to remove the victims.

Five eruptions were seen between midnight and 8am local time ( Singapore time ), according to Ahmad Rifandi, the head of Marapi’s monitoring post, who reported to AFP on Tuesday.

” Marapi is still very engaged,” said the author. We are unable to see the column’s top because of the cloud, he claimed.

Three hikers who were discovered dead on the hill after the volcano were injured but taken to the hospital for medical care, according to Abdul Malik, mind of the Padang Search and Rescue Agency, who told investigators on Monday.

According to Hendra Gunawan, the mind of Indonesia’s geological agency, Marapi has been at the next level of a four-tier alert system since 2011 and has an exclusion zone of 3 km around its crater.

Although some hikers may have been taking illegal rock roads, officials claimed that they had registered through an online booking system.

At a data center at the foot of the mountain, family members were still awaiting changes.

The home of Zhafirah Zahrim Febrina expressed their relief that she was one of the fortunate ones as the search for the missing hikers continued.

A member of the recovery services delivered great news in the form of a broadcast on the video app TikTok where the 19-year-old could be seen.

Even though Febrina had burn and was clearly shaken, her mother Rani Radelani was relieved.
