With over 18 years of management expertise in the payments and financial sector, Lee brings heavy industry knowledge and a strategic perspective that will be key to guiding Curlec’s second phase of growth, innovation, and local expansion.

Lee, a renowned senior in the financial sector, has played a significant role in the spread of online obligations across emerging markets. He has held a number of leadership positions since joining GHL Systems Berhad ( now NTT Data Payment Services ) in 2009. In 2019, he assumed the position of CEO of GHL Malaysia, leading the business through significant progress and flexible digital technology while leading the company’s expansion into the Middle East and Africa.
Over the past ten years, Lee has spearheaded the development of significant e-payment infrastructures in Asean, the Middle East, and Africa, bolstering his standing as a corporate pioneer in the obligations ecosystem. His areas of expertise include developing strategic alliances with international payment networks, financial companies, and leading retailers, as well as global business advancement, product strategy, sales and marketing.
With a Bachelor of Science ( Hons ) in Software and Computer Engineering from Coventry University in the UK, Lee successfully combines his technical expertise with business acumen, helping to guide Curlec to new milestones in Malaysia’s changing fintech landscape.
