Cult Japanese fashion label 45R at Paragon reopens with a bigger Ai indigo collection

Fashion changes may not be what 45R is centred on, but they play a role in the innovative way of the brand, said the brand’s co-founder and brain artist, Yasumi Inoue.

” While our fundamental approach to clothing has n’t changed since the brand’s inception, I incorporate trends in aspects like sizing, colour, patterns and styling”.

She added that regardless of gender, the company aims to produce clothing that is wearable by people of all ages. However, a good portion of its clothes, such as the jeans, sweatshirts, tops and tees, are made to get mixed.

” These are based on people’s clothing styles, which are traditional and rooted in Ivy League design. This classic base speaks well with both men and women, which is why it’s also received by all clients”, explained Inoue.

THE ART OF MAKING DENIM

Denim and purple coloring are two of the brand’s main strengths, both of which involve a material and treatment process that work hand in hand.
