Court worker alleges senior judge molested her

A female court stenographer who claimed to have been molested by a senior judge has filed a complaint with the Crime Suppression Division ( CSD ) to bring him to justice.

The translator filed a complaint with the CSD’s division 4 on Friday, according to a police source.

Researchers led by Pol Col Ekkasit Panseetha, director of the CSD’s sub-division 4, had first questioned her about what had happened, and he informed his officer, CSD chief Pol Maj Gen Montri Thetkhan.

The source claimed that the accused determine sexually harassed her on a sleeping train while traveling to Chiang Mai for a staff development event with an intoxicated suspect. The affair likely occurred between Den Chai Station in Phrae and Sila At Station in Uttaradit.

The source continued, adding that Pol Maj Gen Montri later made the allegations public to the Central Investigation Bureau ( CIB )’s deputy commissioner, Pol Maj Gen Suwat Saengnum, who gave the CSD instructions to set up a panel to further investigate her complaint. Police Majestic Gen Montri and his team are now deciding not to share any details about the event.

In order to conduct an investigation, the accused prosecutor was reportedly moved to an inert position at the Office of the President of the Supreme Court on Monday. The Supreme Court’s leader signed the decree on Tuesday.

The accused determine may be temporarily moved to the Supreme Court’s Office.

Beginning on Monday, the move will go into impact.
