The Constitutional Court has demanded to find the minutes of the Metabolic rate Drafting Committee (CDC)’s 501st meeting which usually discussed Prime Ressortchef (umgangssprachlich) Prayut Chan-o-cha’s period, saying it will analyze the case again following Wednesday.

The court upon Thursday discussed the opposition’s petition concerning the tenure issue and ordered the House associated with Representatives secretary-general to forward the moments of the meeting that occurred on September 11, 2018.

The secretary-general must deliver them by next Wednesday and the court will meet the following day to discuss the case, the courtroom said in a declaration.

Work of the court said the CDC’s 501st meeting was scheduled to approve the minutes of the 500th meeting on Sept 7, 2018.

The mins of the 501st meeting relate to the court’s consideration of the petition for it to rule on whether the primary minister’s time in workplace was already up.

According to reports, CDC head Meechai Ruchuphan said during the 500th meeting that Style Prayut’s tenure began before the promulgation from the present constitution upon April 6, 2017.

Gen Prayut was set up as prime ressortchef (umgangssprachlich) on Aug twenty-four, 2014, under a provisional constitution enforced right after he led the last coup on Might 22, 2014.

If his tenure began then, it should have ended on Aug twenty-four this year.

The constitution limitations the tenure of the prime minister to eight years.

The Constitutional Court has reportedly expressed issue about the leaking of the document submitted by Mr Meechai to the court.

It will launch the probe into the leak even though the document, that has gone viral on social media, has not been authenticated.
