The star couple Pattanapon” DJ Man” Minthakhin and his song family Suteewan” Baitoey” Kunchorn were cleared of all allegations of fraud and involvement in the multi-billion baht Forex “3D Ponzi case by the Criminal Court on Wednesday.
They were one of nine offenders who were named as being survivors of the Ponzi scheme and breach of contract. Another defendants included RMS Famelia Co Ltd, Ponzi system leader Apirak Kothi, Kittichet Chaidet, Miti Pay Co Ltd, Sitthanat Pho- ngern, Supinyo Meesomprach, and Nico Wokurka.
Just one image was presented as evidence, which the judge determined there was insufficient evidence to support a connection between the financial transactions and the Ponzi scheme.
Since this case was brought by the victims, lawyer Amorn Kuson noted the contrast with another case filed by prosecutors based on evidence from the Department of Special Investigation ( DSI).
The constitutional group plans to obtain loan for Pattanapon.
The Forex- 3D system, enticing thousands with false claims of great earnings, was orchestrated by Apiruk Kothi, who was arrested in January 2021.
The famous pair is still one of the 16 people who the DSI has accused of being a part of the Forex-3D Ponzi fraud.
