Cops probe death of foreign couple

Amnat Charoen: Police are looking into a foreign couple’s deaths at their rented home in the Phana area, which are thought to be the result of murder and suicide.

According to Pol Col. Chotnarin Sathupawarat, superintendent of Phana station, the couple— a 47-year-old Swiss man and a 40, year old Moldovan woman — were discovered dead in the bedroom of their two-story home on Saturday by police.

Both had blade scars to their arms and necks, and the man’s body was on the floor next to the base. A Poodle was also discovered dead close to the restroom, along with two weapons.

He claimed that although the floor was covered in blood and footprints, there didn’t seem to be any indication of a challenge and the couple’s possessions were in good condition.

According to Pol Col. Chotnarin, authorities are awaiting the autopsy to ascertain the cause of the incidents, which are believed to be murder-suicide cases. Authorities have not, however, ruled out different possibilities.

The door was locked when police and forensics arrived at the scene, so they requested a spare key from the employer to unlock it. The systems were transported to Ubon Ratchathani’s Sappasitprasong Hospital.

The couple’s friend Suthima Pantho, 43, claimed that her Swedish father had asked them for guidance on a cannabis oil plan. Around five months had passed since the couple arrived in Thailand.

She claimed that on Thursday night, she went to a nearby business with the sufferer person. That night, she thanked her for looking after them in a concept.

Ms. Suthima claimed she texted up but got no response. She made the decision to visit the woman’s home and discovered that they had passed away.
