The second year of this quarter may bring the start of the great period, which will be somewhat later than usual, but it will usually be colder than usual, according to the Thai Meteorological Department ( TMD).
The TMD announced yesterday that the great conditions will start at the end of the second week of the month and will last until the end of February. It noted that the period begins a much later than usual.
In the middle North and higher Northeast, the mercury is expected to drop to the lowest point between 6 and 8C.
The temperatures in Bangkok is expected to drop to between 16 and 18C, while the surrounding counties will remain between 14 and 16C.
The TMD predicts that the hottest temperature may be experienced between early December and January. In some areas of the South, particularly in the upper region, did cooler temperatures be felt.
Between November and December, heavy rain is expected to cover the northeast coast, with possible display floods.
From December through the middle of December, tropical winds may be making. These may travel towards the Gulf of Thailand and the South, bringing heavy storms and gusty gusts to coastal areas.
Storms, strong winds and probable storm may also result in the middle North in January and February.
